We came, we showed them what we were made of and we conquered the audience.
What an awesome night we had at the ‘A Midsummer Night Scream’ show in Stratford Upon Avon on the 18th October 2018.
It’s not every day that students (some of them having started a couple month ago) get the chance to perform in front of a large audience, on a proper stage, with amazing lighting and sharing the stage with a fantastic cast, but I am so glad that my students got this opportunity as they REALLY deserve it.
Here is a little summary of the event:
10 STUDENTS ON STAGE
1 EPIC ROUTINE
3 MINUTES OF BURLESQUE
1 AMAZING AUDIENCE
LOAD OF FUN
Some of the Belles have been with me for years and some a couple of months, but they gave it all and the result is just amazing. So, if you are looking to do some dancing and get a great sense of empowerment, then join Belles Burlesque and get an amazing opportunity with such a great feeling. You will feel awesome and you DO deserve it!
From a teacher point of you, I always want the routine I have in mind to come out strong and polish. I am always determined to do routine that have a massive impact. “No pressure then!” I hear you say. Though it doesn’t mean complicated moves, but students that do the same moves at the same time adding a personal and unique little ‘Je ne sais quoi’. Of course it is tricky already with 2, 3 people, but imagine with 10!,
I’m so pleased to say that they smashed it though and that I am a proud teacher.
